YES WE CAN

The Story of  Yes We Can

“Yes We Can” is a song that was originally inspired by the campaign of President Barack Obama in 2008. The energy, hope, and strength of America during that particular time in history can be felt in the music and lyrics written by Nassiri. The song truly captures the spirit of this great nation, as well as the resiliency of its people as one and all were being put to their most challenging test since the great depression. At no greater time in history has a song like “Yes We Can” been so needed in American society because “Yes We Can” truly celebrates the unique diversity that is the United States of America.

What began as a tribute to a campaign became an anthem for a nation. A nation whose people know, understand, and most of all believe in the power of unity and perseverance, especially when times get hard. “Yes We Can” is a tribute to this great country of ours, its land and its people.

The song’s creator, Nassiri, believes that positive music is a force that can not only heal people, but whole societies and civilizations as well, through the power of positive vibrations. “Yes We Can” was written as a powerful anthem to be shared and sung by all people, young and old, from all walks of life. A song to give us strength in times of weakness, comfort in times of despair, and courage in the face of adversity.

Nassiri believes that positive music heals because music is a universal language and offers each of us the opportunity to experience positive vibrations that occur when we listen to positive music. This is why he has dedicated his life to the creation of such music, because positive music can affect all of us in a unique, spiritual, healing, and uplifting way…when we allow it to be a part of our daily lives. This is the foundation and belief behind each and every one of Nassiri’s songs, including, “Yes We Can.”
